Rocky Crest Golf Resort

This past summer, I was invited to experience the hospitality of Rocky Crest Resort on stunning Lake Joseph in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada. Nestled among the

nature just a few hours north of Toronto, it is a hidden gem with an idyllic golf course and modern cottages that can accommodate and entertain the whole family.

Rocky Crest Golf Resort is open, during golf season, seven days per week from early May through mid-October. Adjacent to the resort is Rocky Crest Golf Club. This 18-hole

championship golf course was designed by Thomas McBroom and in 2011, Golf Week ranked the Club third in its listing of the best Canadian golf courses of the modern era.

As a resort guest you can access any one of three ClubLink private golf courses, which include the Rocky Crest Golf Club, The Lake Joseph Club and the Mark O’Meara Course at Grandview.

For your culinary options, you can dine in high style under the cathedral ceiling of Windows, relax on the patio overlooking the lake, or spend an evening in the Fireside Lounge. “Wherever

possible, we use local ingredients in our dishes and we proudly participate in Savour Muskoka, a program dedicated to eating locally and supporting local farmers” says Executive Chef, Ken Schulz.

The Resort is an all suite property with each room having a kitchenette and separate bedroom. Complimentary wireless internet access is made available in all the guest suites and

Villas. Rocky Crest Resort caters to the whole family with a whole host of outdoor activities. Children and adults alike can swim at the waterfront or at one of the two pools;

participate in Tennis, Beach Volleyball, or Basketball at the Armishaw Sports Club. Billiards and Table Tennis is available in the Fireside Lounge. Use of non-motorized watercraft that

includes kayaks, canoes, paddle boarding, and pedal boats is complimentary.

On site is the Amba Health & Beauty Spa for all desired needs. Amba Spa promises to “Revitalize your mind, body and soul in our full-service professional spa.” It is a perfect

oasis to rejuvenate your mind and body, so feel free to treat yourself to a manicure, pedicure, facial, massage, or mud wrap.

Nature hikes and boat cruises may also be arranged by the staff. Direct flights by float planes can be arranged from different locations around Ontario. For more information,
