This is a large restaurant but you will feel comfortable sitting by the fireplace in the small room at the entrance or oser to the bar with shelves of the finest wine. Owner and Chef Jose Alves is a master in preparing gourmet food. He began his career in Portugal as a young apprentice at the age

of 13.His menu reflects the Portuguese flavor He offers many of the traditional dishes. Chef Alves goes to the market daily to find

the freshest produce, meat and fish. He has a creative touch in presenting the gourmet food that he lovingly has prepared.

Each dish will appeal to all the senses.


Caldo Verde is a traditional soup that will please the palate. The Grilled Tiger Shrimp and Squid are prepared with fresh

herbs, marinated vegetables and a medium spiced Piri Piri sauce. It is a work of art. Caldeirada is a signature dish prepared

and served in a copper pot. Various types of fish and shrimp are simmered in a tomato base with various herbs. The aroma is tantalizing and the taste supreme.

Fresh fish is perfectly prepared. The Grilled Fillet of Salmon is prepared with a garlic herb crust. Norwegian Grilled Salted Cod is

a Portuguese favorite that will be loved by all. It is served with oven baked potatoes, caramelized onions and perfectly prepared vegetables.


Meat lovers will enjoy the ‘Bitoque’, a prime 10 oz. steak served in the traditional way with a fried egg on top. Grilled Lamb Chops are

a popular request. Crisp Muscovy Duck Breast is available daily.


Make room for a dessert to finalize a perfect meal. The desserts are prepared in house. Creme Brule is the perfect

way to end a lovely meal. Pear tart is delicious. Chocolate lovers will delight in the White Chocolate Flan.
