WHAT DOES THE “WEDDING ITALIAN STYLE” PROJECT CONSIST OF.
The project consists of organizing “Italian Style” weddings wherever I am requested in the world. In 2009 I founded my wedding agency Ubi Amor to promote Italian culture abroad, where Made in Italy is synonymous with luxury and beauty. Ubi Amor has fulfilled its mission by organizing weddings for an international and wealthy clientele. Complex and detailed events are planned to the utmost detail and include careful inspections and the ability to resolve last-minute problems. Errors are not allowed.
The project was based on a network of Italian brands (made in Italy) and the cooperation of the workforce (operators and suppliers) of the host country. Ubi Amor therefore pays particular attention to the 8 fundamental areas for organizing an Italian style wedding: the choice of Italian brands for the bride and groom’s clothes, the preparation of the banquet with Italian dishes and wines and fine products such as our parmesan, extra oil virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Modena, the floral composition designed by an Italian florist, the paper kit (invitations, save the date etc.) coming from prestigious Italian paper mills, the design of the wedding ceremony conceived by an art director Italian, the music of an Italian band, the photography and videos produced by an award-winning Italian photography studio, the very Italian wedding planner and if the spouses wish, also the organization of the honeymoon in Italy.
WHICH FOREIGN AREA HAVE YOU IDENTIFIED FOR YOUR PROJECT?
The pilot project started in China in 2013 thanks to the joint venture with a Chinese communication agency interested in the project and in my brand, UBI AMOR. China is a country in love with Italian style and my agency Ubi Amor represented a plus for Chinese spouses. Unfortunately today there are no longer the conditions to work with China and for this reason I would like to focus on the Italian style organization in Canada where many young second and third generation Canadian spouses wish to maintain Italian traditions.
WHAT IS THE ADDED VALUE THAT THE ORGANIZATION OF AN “ITALIAN STYLE WEDDING” WEDDING CAN GIVE?
Exclusivity. I believe in unique and special products; I believe in the contamination between art, fashion and design. Ubi Amor’s mission is to enhance contemporary life style. I try to maintain my roots in qualitative excellence, Italian craftsmanship and creativity.
HOW AND WHERE I STARTED
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”. Inspired by this phrase from Eleanor Roosevelt, in 2009 I founded Ubi Amor, motivated by a great passion, and I deal with the organization of ceremonies. I came to this profession after years of experience abroad and in Italy in institutional relations and in the event planning sector for a multinational pharmaceutical company.
I would therefore like to say that the profession of wedding planner is for me a point of arrival, not a starting point. The turning point in my career was when on November 22, 2013 I signed an agreement in Beijing with a Chinese company interested in investing in my brand. This gave me the opportunity to be known in an emerging market.
IN THE ORGANIZATION OF THE WEDDING WHERE I START FROM
From identity and visual design. Then there is the planning of the wedding calendar. Immediately afterwards there is the phase of research and development of ideas. In essence you have to translate the reflections into a physical product, collect the ideas and start to understand what direction the project should take. Then comes the time of researching materials and optimizing the budget. Creativity, exclusivity and class are the watchwords for organizing a wedding. Weddings are no longer just an abundance of flowers, they have become real events that incorporate a myriad of elements including architecture, set design, interior design, lighting. There must be enthusiasm and empathy between the married couple and the wedding planner. The wedding planner has the perfect success of the event at heart. However, regardless of how it can be organised, a wedding has a profound value and does not necessarily have to be organized in a particular and sophisticated way, it can also be a very intimate and elegant celebration. In any case, for any type of wedding the eye of the wedding planner is highly appreciated.

THE THREAD OF A WEDDING I AM ORGANIZING
The common thread of a wedding that I am organizing is the aroma of a flower, in this specific case I chose the rose. We start from the decoration with a triumph of roses to continue with “Love Roses” cocktails and a menu with reference to the rose, that is, handmade tagliatelli with rose petals with marigold pesto, to end with the wedding cake “paradise cake at rose”. For the bride, an important pharmaceutical factory is preparing a personalized rose essence to wear during the wedding day. The gift for guests will also be a rose cologne packaged in jewel bottles.
YOUR NEXT GOAL
My next goal is to promote the “wedding Italian style” project in Canada, a country that I adore and where there are many Italians, including second and third generation ones, who are in love with Italian style. I would like to go to the locations chosen by the spouses to create an unforgettable wedding. Italian style is the pinnacle of fashion and my goal is to put it into practice wherever I am asked.
