Inspired by The Persuaders!, the early 1970s action-comedy TV series (shown in Italy as Attenti a quei due), was filmed over the past few weeks on the coastline around the border between Italy and the Côte d’Azur. Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi expressed, “I was a loyal viewer of the TV series The Persuaders! and I found the same ironic and elegant style in this little gem of a film. As always, Riva delivers big emotions.”
The film’s protagonists, involved in a riveting high-speed adventure on the road and the waves, include the international football star and British style icon David Beckham, one of Italy’s most famous actors Pierfrancesco Favino, and Charles Leclerc, an outstanding Scuderia Ferrari team racing driver idolized by Formula 1 fans.

In addition to these three celebrities, the stars of the film are the magnificent boats built by the storied Riva yard, which is celebrating its 180th anniversary this year, as well as a dazzling Ferrari and sleek vintage Maserati. Riva The Persuaders! shows Beckham in a vintage Maserati racing against Favino in a Ferrari before the action moves to the water where all three celebrities drive Riva yachts – Beckham in a 68’ Diable, Favino aboard a 56’ Rivale and Leclerc on a 39ft Rivamare. The trio are eventually seen together aboard a Navetta 37 superyacht by Custom Line, another Ferretti Group brand.
